Hey everybody! Off to Mexico until Nov. 8. I won't have my phone but I should have internet access for most of the time I'm there. Time for some fun in the sun!

I was in Mexico over 4 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure if I had the swine flu it would have manifested by now. If I lunge at you with my jaws open and visions of tasty tasty flesh in my eyes you have my permission to shoot me in the head. That is all.

Matt told me this when he woke up Saturday morning and I made him write it down.  It was so funny I had to share it.  This is what he wrote:

The dream was about Barack Obama and Eddie Van Halen.  President Obama wanted to build a guitar that could save the world.  He asked Eddie to help him.  Well, Eddie was on a world tour at the time and faxed blueprints to the President.  Obama had a team of accountants or something similar putting the pieces together but they could not do it all.  The President called Eddie Van Halen (who was in Moscow) in a panic and begged him to come help.  Eddie used spy cameras to watch their progress and realized they were missing a key componant.  Eddie booked a flight to Toledo because apparently the missing part could only be bought here at one dingy little music store on the south side of Toledo.  Hilary Clinton then called and told him that he couldn't go get it because the music store was not on the bus line.  Eddie then used his magical musical powers on the city's weak public transit system...and then he woke up.

Also, the whole dream was done in puppet style...a la Team America.  How fucking awesome is that?  I was rolling on the ground as he was telling me!

In other news.  My folks found a will for my grandmother from 1955.  If they can't find a newer one then they may have to submit that one.  Eveything left to the kids but no executor (well it was my grandpa and then my great uncle Ken but he's been dead 30 years or more).  Dunno what's going to happen now.  They found quite a substantial bit of money that's left in my grandmothers bank account and of course there's the property in White House which most of you know it probably worth a pretty penny.  Anyway, house is trashed and there is still hope that we could get hired to clean it out.  I'll keep people updated.

School is going well.  Hoping to pull off a 4.0 this semester but we'll see.  I'm on spring break next week. I'll be done in June once I do my internship.  For those of you who don't know.  Matt got laid off nearly 3 weeks ago.  We'll be alright with his unemployment and what I make but finding a job once I finish my intership is that much more critical.  I lose the subbing income at the end of May but we should be fine until the end of June or maybe even until July with what we have saved. 

My host brother from Mexico is getting married at the end of this month.  I wrote to him and told him I wouldn't be able to go because of the lay off and everything.  He and my other host brother and my host sister pooled their money together and bought me a ticket!  Yay so I'll be going to Mexico after all (no comments on the warnings please.  I'm well aware of them and I've never been afraid of Mexico, I'm not going to start now.  Those warnings mostly pertain to border towns anyway I think).  I'll be there only 5 days this time but that's enough to soak up some sun!
